Such a wonderful community we have here in Astoria.  This is where I’d like to link you into my favorite spots here in this sublime coastal town…also check out my article on top 10 reasons to live on the coast!!

Astoria Aquatic Center is where you can often find me swimming laps, playing with my son on the water slide or working out in the gym space.  They offer wonderful options to stay in shape, and supporting a local community pool/parks and recreation is a no brainer.

Astoria Cooperative  is where I often refer my patients to find the best natural food products, freshest organic produce and outstanding house made deli items.

A Gypsy’s Whimsy is our local herbal apothecary where I refer my patient to find bulk herb, teas, supplements, flower essences, and personally formulated tinctures.  You can find owner Vicki McAffee and her store A Gypsy’s Whimsy on facebook.

Fort George Brewery and Public House, yep here’s your local naturopath recommending a brewpub, best hot spot in town AND you may occasionally find me pouring beers as my husband is one of the owners.  Make sure and order the Tracy salad, and come on Sundays for free live music from 8-10ish.

Yoga Namaste  is my yoga studio of choice.  Ute Swerdloff helps her yogis to find the beauty, wisdom and peace of the asanas most mornings of the week.  For those who have a little yoga under their belt come for vinyasa class on saturdays…you’ll find me sweating along with you on the mat in this priceless little studio.
